A Visit From Aunti Rhonda

This Monday my Sister and Addison's God mother, Rhonda came to visit and help out with little miss Addison. We had a great time and this morning I was very sad to see her go. We sang, danced, laughed and cooed at Addison. We actually sat on the couch for an hour and just stared at her. Addison has no idea the power she has.

Rhonda brought Addison some toys that her nephews are done with and one of them was this cookie monster toy. I am truly amazed that a children's toy could make three adults laugh so hard. Addison was not as impressed by it. Well the power of suggestion took over and I had the need to bake some cookies. The first two batches turned out but the last one we forgot in the oven for quite some time. No fire thank goodness but this batch certainly was not edible
A few more of my favorite photos I know they are very similar to all the other pictures that I post but I just can't help myself.
Thinking about something very important.
Love these cheeks

Growing like Crazy

On Monday Addison Grace had her first Dr.s visit and the Doctor says she is doing great. She has already grown a half an inch and has gained almost a full pound since birth. Even though she did not have any shots yesterday the visit tuckered her out. She slept almost the entire day.

Last week we were fortunate enough to have my mom up for the week. She helped us out so much by taking the nights and helping me get some things done around the house. Addison and I had such a great time with Grandma and we were sad to see her go.

On Friday my sister Kimberly, her husband Chad and my nephew Bryce came up to meet our little peanut. Bryce made Addison the most adorable Easter bunny basket complete with three Easter eggs with candy in them. He told me I could save the candy for Addison until she was able to eat it but unfortunately it somehow was eaten by me. Candy is never safe in my home. And on Saturday Nana Pflepsen came back up to celebrate Easter with us since we weren't quite ready to make the 2 and a half hour drive home.

So far this week we have done some much needed snuggling. Lilly as you can see can't get close enough. She always has to be on my lap when I am feeding Addison. Fortunately Lilly does not seem to mind the new "baby". A little jealous but she is accepting it. We have also been working on tummy time which Addison usually sleeps through. The weather has been so great that we have been able to go for some walks too.

Okay a few to many pictures sorry.
